  • Booking Policy
    TAKING RESERVED APPOINTMENTS ONLY: To reduce no-call/no-show on services a DEBIT or CREDIT CARD is placed on hold when booking your appointment. You do not have an appointment until the reservation is made. No reservation. No appointment. No exceptions*! I recommend book online, if you do not have ability to book online call (816)649-8189 or email justmistyblu@gmail.com to be assisted on my alternative options, walk-ins accepted on case by case basis.   • What Can I Expect on My First Visit?
    You will be greeted by your stylist, and a mini consultation will be held to discuss what you expect to achieve from the visit. Along with going through inspirational photos that you bring to the appointment. The final resolution will be reviewed, necessary paperwork will be read , signed and service will begin.
  • Return/ Refund Polices
    Payment for services is expected to be paid at the time of service. ABSOLUTELY no refunds are will be issued for makeup/hair services or faux hair services. If you are not satisfied with work done by Misty please contact her within 3 days of your service so that your hair can be visually inspected. At that time, Misty will make every effort to correct the problem to your satisfaction. Adjustments will be made available to you at no cost with in the 5 work days of the initial service. Please note that this guarantee is not in affect if you decide to change the desire look that you originally requested to achieve at your appointment.

  • Payment Types
    I gladly accepts Cash, All Major Credit Cards, Bill Me Later (when availlable), Paypal, Over-the Phone payments. Checks are not accept. Gratuity may be added to your credit card. ABSOLUTELY, NO IOU's will be issued! PRICING & CURRENCY CONVERSION All prices listed on the website are in US (USD) dollars. For international orders, the bank that has issued your credit/debit card determines the exact exchange rate that you will be charged. The amount charged from the original Paint The Town Blu invoice purchased is returned when refunded by the seller. Please note we cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies caused by exchange rate fluctuations. PAYMENT SAFETY No card information is ever saved at PTB, LLC and it remains the private property of the card holder at all times before, during, and after the product purchase. All transactions are processed through PayPal, which is a secure form of payment. You do not need a PayPal account to use their payment service. We at PTB, LLC take many active steps to ensure the absolute safety of your credit card and personal information. In addition to processing all credit card sales via a fully secured and reputable third party payment processor, your checkout experience is protected by industry standard 128 Bit SSL encryption to protect your private data.   • Consultations
    A15-minute consultation is complimentary and online booking is still required. However, once time allot is reached. Consultations for all hair services are $35 and it will be added to service when booked the same day. Consultations are HIGHLY recommended for first time clients, faux hair and chemical services.
  • Use of Photos
    Misty encourages clients to send "inspiration" photos of the style they would like to considered during the wig process or beauty services. Misty does not produce exact replica of services based off inspirational photo submitted by client. The use of pictures is for a guide only.
  • Cancellations of Custom Wig Order
    Once the customer approves their custom order, submitted deposit and order is submitted into production, modifications to the order MAY NOT be accepted. If you decide to cancel your custom order after production has began, your deposit is non-refundable. Prior to finalizing your order, please contact me with all your questions and concerns. Once custom order is completed and we contact you via text and/or by text have been notified, we will allow 30 days to pay the balance. You will be contacted prior to the expiration of the 30 days to pay the balance of your order. However, if balance is left unpaid, your custom order will be sold and deposit forfeited.
  • Ready to Ship and Custom Units
    Due to nature of products and service All Sales are FINAL!! You will be provided with photos of finished unit. Changes can be made prior to shipping. There are absolutely NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES! Deposits and Fees A 50% deposit is required before production of all custom units. All deposits are NONREFUNDABLE. Remaining balance will be invoiced via Paypal. Invoiced balances must be paid within 24 hours of unit completion. After 24 hours of nonpayment a $25 late fee will be added to invoice. After 48 hours of nonpayment a $15 per day storage fee will be assessed. After 30 days of nonpayment custom unit is subject for resale. Virgin Hair Extensions and Closures No Refunds. No Returns. Exchange only. No Exceptions. We adhere to strict quality control procedures to ensure that our clients receive the best virgin hair. Exchanges must be approved by emailing customer service. For exchanges items must be mailed in its original condition. All items must be unworn, undamaged, unopened and unaltered (brushed, picked,combed, or washed). Items meeting these conditions may be returned within 3 days of receipt for exchange.
  • How Long Does the Wig Last?
    A wig can last anywhere from a few months to a 1 year + depending on how well it is cared for.
  • What Type of Cap Do You Use to Make Wigs on?
    Wigs are made on a lightweight, breathable mesh cap. Wig combs and/or elastic band can be attached for extra security by request at no additional cost.
  • Can I Send My Own Hair for a Wig to be Made?
    Yes. You can provide your own hair for a unit to be made. Please label lengths on each individual bundle. **Having a custom wig made is an investment. It is highly recommended that you only send high quality 100% virgin human hair or quality beauty supply store remy hair to ensure that your investment will last as long as possible.   • Can I Submit a Picture of How I Want My Unit Styled, Colored, Cut etc?"
    Yes. You may submit "inspiration photos" for unit styles. *Please note use of photos are only a guide to create a similar desired look.
  • Do You Provide Hair?
    Yes. Hair for custom wigs and sew-ins can be purchase thru Misty (hair must be PAID IN FULL and a 50% deposit or online reservation must be made prior to visit). However, if you will be providing hair please let stylist know in advance. I STRONGLY suggest you use only QUALITY hair to ensure the best results and longetivity of the product. Ready to ship units are made ONLY with 100% high quality human hair
  • What Should I Expect After Booking Hair Extension Appointment?
    If you are getting hair extensions add, please bring in items 48 hours before appointment date and/ or submit your inspiration picture as a guide for your beauty service. WIGS ONLY: After construction of your wig you will be notified by email on record with photos for review and invoice you with the remaining balance. Once final payment has been made your new unit will be sent out to you and you will be provided a tracking number. Very easy and convenient!
  • Does Wig Combs and/or Clips Come With My Unit?
    Yes. Misty applies wire wig combs to all units, if clients prefer to use clips they must state that in the request before production of the wig starts.
  • Can My Wig/ Unit Be Sewn Down?
    Absolutely. Units can be applied by gluing down, taping down, or sewing down to cilents head.
  • Hair Care Guide (Extensions)
    To ensure your virgin hair lasts six months to one year, it is very important that you care for your hair on a regular basis. Here are some tips on how to maintain the quality of your hair from Princess Hair Plug. PREP: If you are wearing your hair AS IS upon receiving it, the first thing you want to do is co-wash your hair. This means “wash” your bundles with a conditioner. This conditions the hair and sets the standard for healthy hair going forth. You can begin to style your hair as normal after co-washing. If you are DYING your hair before installing it, we recommend washing your hair with shampoo only. This removes any oil or residue that may be on the hair. This will ensure an even deposit when you color your bundles. You can continue to style your hair as normal after coloring. If you are BLEACHING or LIFTING your hair upon receiving it, we recommend doing none of the above. You can bleach your bundles right out of the box. We do however recommend you use a moisturizing shampoo after rinsing the bleach. Follow that with a rich conditioner, leave on for 5 minutes, rinse and reapply conditioner again. Leave on for 10 minutes then rinse and style and usual. STYLING: For best results with your virgin hair, use as little product as possible during daily use. If your hair does become slightly dry, make sure to use a LIGHT hair oil, nothing heavy. We recommend Moroccanoil Light. Only apply hair oil if you NEED it. If you’re wearing a bone straight style and will have to flat iron your hair often, we do recommend using a heat protectant spray. This keeps your ends from splitting and showing signs of heat damage such as unruly hair and fried ends. Signs of damage will appear on your closure and frontal sooner than your bundles because our closures and frontals are made with finer, more delicate hair. We recommend using a light spritz of MegaSilk Olive Heat Protecting Spray every other time you flat iron. WASHING: It is very important that you wash your hair weekly. If you have a sew-in, do not put your entire head under the water in the shower. Wash your hair in the sink. Part your hair down the middle from forehead to neck and wash the left side then the right side in gentle soft strokes using downward motions. We recommend One ‘N Only Argan Oil Moisture Repair Shampoo, Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Smoothing Shampoo or Tresemmé Touchable Softness Shampoo. Use warm water to rinse thoroughly. Gently ring the hair by squeezing in place all the way down the shaft. Never pull and squeeze like you would normal hair. This prevents shedding. CONDITIONING: The main reason it’s important to wash your virgin hair weekly is so that you can give it a weekly condition. This really makes your virgin hair go the distance. We recommend Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Smoothing Conditioner or L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Restoring Conditioner. For best results, apply conditioner and gently comb through from tips to roots with a wide tooth comb. Leave on for at least 5 minutes. Repeat. The better you maintain your weekly condition routine, the longer your hair will last. DETANGLING: The way you comb and brush your hair is one of the most important factors in keeping your virgin hair looking great. Use a paddle brush for your everyday grooming needs. We recommend the Hoopla Vented Cushion Paddle Brush. Always start brushing at the TIPS and work your way up to the roots. This lessens split ends. Hold the hair with one hand and brush with the other. This reduces shedding. When your hair is wet always detange with a wide tooth comb. We recommend the Ultra Smooth Coconut Infused Detangling Comb. DRYING: When caring for virgin hair, the less heat you apply, the better. ALWAYS air dry your hair whenever possible. You can do this by laying it securely on your balcony in the daytime or hanging it over your bedroom door overnight. This keeps the curl pattern and luster of your hair intact over time. You can style hair as normal after your hair has air dried. NIGHTTIME: Always make sure to wrap your virgin hair at night. This can be done with a silk wrap that secures your hair tightly against your head (best for straight hair), or with a silk bonnet (best for curls). We recommend Celestial Crowns Slumber Bonnet. If you’re wearing a wig, simply remove the wig and brush it before bed.
  • Is Shipping Included in Price?
    Yes and No. Shipping will be added to any products or items paid in full. If a deposit was made, shipping will be added to the final payment after unit is finished. Shipping is only for confirmed PAYPAL addresses by way of USPS priority mail/ signature confirmation. Domestic shipment is a flat rate. International rate will be based off of delivery location.
  • Do You Offer Coloring Services on Wigs/Units?
    Yes. Misty offers custom coloring services on units in chocolate brown, caramel brown, burgundy and black. For any others colors client must submit an inspiration photo as a guide for color.
  • How do I Measure My Head for My Wig/ Unit?
  • How Long Will a Quick Weave last, and What Do I Need to Do to Maintain it?"
    To maintain your Quick Weave style you should NEVER put any oil based product onto the extension hair, for straight styles you should wrap your hair every night and tie it up with a satin bonnet or satin scarf, For curly styles you should apply light mouse and roller set your hair overnight as often as needed, and sleep with a satin scarf or bonnet, and you should come in to get your extensions re tightened every 2 weeks or when you feel them becoming loose. Once you have approved your style I absolutely do not repair anything under any circumstances. If you have not care for it properly including but not limited listed above.
